whoa...just reached home not long ago.. Was doing soc psych proj with Celia and N at Eusoff Hall. I like EH! I think it's quite clean and comfy :) We managed to do the finishing touched for our proj, yayy! :) Anw, our project is really quite cute, though it's quite tedious. We had to do up a storybook, aimed at children 10 and below. Thinking of the storyline, drawing up the pictures, colouring the pictures, they all felt a little like doing art and craft! haha. My art has never been good, but I did enjoy the process of doing up this storybook! Although I must admit that we spent alooooot of time on it, and I do hope our efforts will pay off!!!!
Just now when I was on my way home, met with 2 types of not so gracious people, and they were both women! The first one was when I was on the train. The train was had just left the previous station and was on its way to my station, when the lady beside me answered a call. And oh my goodness, the moment she opened her mouth to talk, I smelt her breath. With no doubts, she has a smoker's breath. It was OMG-ly stinky, not that I'm trying to be mean or rude. I have ever smelt such a smell, but hers is really tops. ewwwwww. I stood up immediately, not even waiting for the train to reach my stop. Seriously, I wonder if she knows. I felt so disgusted, I bet it turns many other people off too. That is why, it's really a no-no to smoke. Totally uncool, totally disgusting!! But I believe it's partly her problem too. If you are a smoker, you should jolly well make sure you have mints or whatever to freshen your breath when you are outside. Shouldn't this be a form of social courtesy?
The other not-so-gracious lady I met was when I was walking to the control station to tap my card. I was carrying a paper bag, and I lifted my hand to take my card out of my bag. I heard a sound, and realised that someone had knocked into my bag. I turned my head to look at the person, ready to apologise, to see her staring at me with a look that plainly shows how annoyed she was. She even made this loud "tsk" sound, you know, those kind that aunties make. (I know I do write it, but I don't really use it really. Even if I do, it's usually when I'm joking with my friends; I don't purposely "tsk" at people I don't know.) Honestly, I find that sound quite rude, especially when the person makes it LOUD to make sure you heard it. So, my mouth was already saying "ssss...(orry)" , but upon seeing her rude gesture, I immediately swallowed my apology. I would rather swallow and choke than apologise to such ungraceful people. ewwwwwww.
And so, that concludes my two encounters with two ungracious "ladies"!
Ohh myy...I wanted to upload the photos, but once again, there's some internet error! :( sighh.. Shall try another time then. I wonder what's the problem???
EC looks different! oh my.. He looks so much fatter now!! :(( (was browsing thru his fb photos..ahaha) But oh well, I guess he still has his charisma :P
