My goshhh...time flies like nobody's business!! Was intending to update my blog last week, at the beginning of the recess week. Yet now, as I'm typing this entry, it's already the 2nd last day of the recess week!!!!!! GOSHHH... I NEED MORE TIME!!!! or at least something that can help me hold onto time. hurr.

Recess week seems to have zoomed past sooo fast, I dun even remember what have I been doing :( Even when I'm studying at home, the time seems to pass by so fast I dun seem to be able to read alot ehhh. Ok shall stop complaining and whining, so irritating, yeah i noe.

Went for my first (and probably last) Dizi sectional outing on Tuesday. We went Crystal Jade to have steamboat!!!!!! I never knew there's steamboat at CJ, and not to forget FREE FLOW of xiao long bao!! woww...thanks to yx who recommended this good lobang! hahaha! Now i know of another place with good food!! :))

Dinner was quite enjoyable, and superr filling!!! We chose the yuan yang soup, so we had the spicy soup on one side, and the normal pork rib with corn soup on the other side. I must say, the spicy soup is OMG-ly HOTTTTTTT. Tried one mouthful, and i never touched it anymore :X When I tried to swallow it down, the red hot chilli taste just ran up to my nose, and my tears just burst out of my eyes. Ahahaha ok la, not so drama. But ANW, my main point is, it's just too spicy for words. Horrifyingly, the waitresses always refilled the soups to the brim, such that the soups kept spilling over to the other side. Which means, the normal soup became rather spicy too. arghh. But overall, I think the food was good, and worth the money! It's ard $23 per person, but considering that the steamboats ard bugis are all ard $17-$20, I think the price is not too bad for Crystal Jade. I like the xiao long baos, but was really too full to eat too many. They also have 4 different types of mushrooms, which is a total plus point for a mega-mushroom lover like me!! hehehe.

YY and I left first ard 1045, since the rest live either on campus or very near school. We wanted to take 95 back to Buona Vista mrt station, but couldnt find the busstop!!! It was only after we got on the train that I remembered 95 is a loop service. GRRR. So, instead of crossing to the opposite side like we usually do when we want to go back to the direction we came from, you should take 95 from the stop that you dropped. Which means you're continuing the journey from where you stopped previously, but it'll actually bring you back to BV mrt station. Goondu me forgot about this, so in the end we walked all the way back to the station. It's surprisingly not that far, about 10-15 mins walk. It was also quite a good exercise after the filling meal, just that the place was rather dark.

Went for NTU's CO concert yesterday. It was not too bad, though honestly I expected better. But anw, I like their choice of songs. They cater more to the tastes of the public, by performing some HK drama songs that would be familiar to many :) Went there mainly to support Jonathan, and I think he played very well! Esp for his solo part, and KL kept saying that he is very pro!! Wahaha! I guess he exudes that air of pro-ness. HAHA!

Have to go for CO prac soon! Most probably my last saturday co practice. Sighhs. Well I guess all good things have to come to an end sooner or later. Shall enjoy this last prac as much as I can :)Ciaos! :)

Yayyy! New blogskin!!! :) Am quite sick of my old one, and the words were sooo tiny!! Bad for eyesight, esp for those who uses the com for many hours a day...hehe... This one is so much more reader friendly ehh!

Nothing much to update...just cy's bday celebration tt i'm a little too lazy to do now..haha.. and it's over for quite some time liao lo! next time!! :)

My current blog song is Luo Zhi Xiang's new song, 潮男正传!!!! not bad!!!! :)) Do enjoy ok! Am waiting for his album to 改版 before buying, although I do have some of his songs already, hehe. Should probably just save up on the money yeah...haha :P

Tmr is Valentines' Day! Not that I have any reason to be excited la, haha! Oh except for being excited for a certain fren's date!! LOL :P Hope it will go well for her, and may we hear good news soon!!Wahaha :)

Having my first presentation this friday, which is like my first assignment for this sem. The next test would be on 18th Feb, which is still a few days away! haha. It feels so slack, I keep slacking too. Argh. I felt so insecure when i see frens around me busy doing their assignments, caught up in tests and assignments. If not for this fri's assignment, I would probably still be sticking my butt into my sofa in front of the teevee and computer every night. Hurhur! Yes I noe i noe... I will mug hard!! :)

The decision to quit CO is not an impulse one, nor is it because of the things that happened recently. I guess, this idea has been there since Year 1 sem 1. Yea, that long ago... It was the love for playing dizi and performing tt kept yy and I there, (and also a certain EC of cos hehe :P). Come Year 2, I think KL is one of the main reasons keeping us there (HAHA KL aren't u honoured!!!! :P) , and of cos the new adn old frenships we made mainly from suona and dizi :) Although no more EC le..sigh... Then agn, I think it's time for me to take a break, a break from Dazu, Xiaozu, everything in CO. I dunno when will this break stop, or will it even stop. All i know is, I feel so tired of CO I can no longer find the enjoyment of playing my instrument. Practices seem to become a chore to me, and the main thing keeping me going is the upcoming performance. I looove the feeling of performing on stage with the entire CO, i think it's such a magical and touching atmosphere :) And since i'm on this topic, let's advertise a little for the concert! hehe..though i dun think alot of ppl read this, haha but anw.. 7th March (Saturday), 8 pm at University Cultural Centre(UCC) in NUS!!!!! Tickets selling at $17, $13.80 and $10.60 if you get it from me, which is a 20% discount i think... Do come down to support if you have the time, and if you dun mind listening to Chinese Orchestra pieces! :)

updates!

Have lotsss of things to update!! but...i guess they will take alot of time. Haha. Shall try to keep things short and sweet! First up... YY's bday celebration!! Haha it took place nearly 3 weeks ago... But anw! It was funnn, and great to meet up with so many frens! Like I told her, our social circles are sooo similar, even in the SAME cca and SAMe instru throughout these years, we have nearly all the same frens!! haha...nearly la... Her bday was just like a mini gathering for ppl from our various cliques: cchms, cchmsco, jc class, nyco, nus, nusco :) Ok, not all managed to turn up, but the celebration was a successful one i guess! Although I must say tt it's so hard for the bday gal to mingle and interact with all of the guests, since she was like sooo busy throughout.. And I think it's really such a blessful feeling, to be surrounded by family and frens to celebrate a milestone in your life, to know that they are the ones tt will be there to hold u and give u a hand when u need, lend u a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear... :)

next up was CNY! one of my favourite festive seasons!! I like the feeling that our country is immersed in a celebrating mood. Even the other races too! Since there's 2 public holidays in a row.. :) Played Bingo and Mahjong, and i won for both!! hehe :P First time playing mahjong with money..I guess that's called beginner's luck!! :) But ahh... one entire round of mahjong takes sooooooo long, as in the full north south east west rounds...i think we played for ard 2 hours? soo tired after tt...It's really a good brain exercise, esp when u play with pros!! hehe :P

Met up with cousins on saturday, missed co as a result. But, i'll rather go out with my cousins anytime rather than go for co yeah? hahaha :P Went to watch movie..didn't have much choices, so we settled on "All's well ends well". Only one word to describe it: crap. Yikes, a total waste of money. So disappointing can. Still thought it would be ok since there's Louis Koo and Wu jun ru. Dun DUN DUN bother to watch it. Went to Night Safari after that, although SM and JH went back, and some ORANGE didnt wanna come down. TSK. Haven't gone to night safari for a looong time. It's not too bad I guess, just that many parts were quite dark, and it was hard to take photos. We sat on the tram, which brought us ard to see the animals, and to catch a whiff of the animal smells. haha. We watched the "creatures of the night" show, which i thought was good. The animals are so cute!! :) It's been quite a while since us cousins went out tgt.. hope we'll have more gatherings in future!! though i must say, very hard to organise lehhhhh...HAHA.

Much loves :)) Short of some of us!!!! next time ok!!!! :) Someone (i cant rmb who) said her fren went to take a studio photo with her cousins. I think tt sounds so cool. Shall consider doing tt hehe.
