I have alot of stuff that I want to update! But I don't know where to start from, hahaha! Am too lazy to upload pictures, so this shall be a photo-less entry!

Well, the first thing that I want to share about is my birthday party!! :) Had alot of fun, felt alot of love! :))) I rmb being told that holding one will be a memorable memory, and indeed! It will be a day that I will remember fondly of! The day started just like any other day, and I even had to give tuition at 930 in the morning! haha! My parents picked me up after that, and we went to have lunch followed by doing my hair. It's the first time in my entire life getting my hair done up so nicely, and I was honestly rather nervous!!!! Hahaha! I kept telling the hairstylist that I wanted sth simple, cos I was really afraid that I'll look weird with some new hairdo. When the hairstylist started to curl my hair, I remember going "oh shit". haha cos I felt that it made me look really mature, and I didn't want to look "auntyish"!!! The end result turned out quite alright though, and he started to do my fringe. He wanted to pin up my fringe in kj's old trademark "currypuff" style, but it made me look really really mature-ish! HAHA and my mum emphasised a few times to the hairstylist, I'm attending a birthday party, not getting MARRIED!!!Lol. I finally told the hairstylist that I wanted my fringe down, and I guess it was a right move. At least I didn't look that mature, and more like my age. And I don't look like a bride or wad. Hahaha! :P

Went to my grandma's place to set up and decorate the place, and I'm soo thankful to my family who helped me to decorate! The balloons kept bursting, guess they got quite a few shocks! Oh and many thanks to kj and cp who came down earlier to help me. Especially kj who was the first to come, and even lent me her speakers! Thanks girl! :)They decorated the guest book table so nicely!! :) The food was delivered on time, and there wasn't any problems there! Phew! One little hiccup for the night was that the food and drinks were not enough. :( SORRY!! Was expecting to be enough for everyone, but I think those who came later did not have alot to eat. And the drinks, although we had previously prepared 6 1.5 litres of root beer, it was still not enough! My mum had to go out to buy even more drinks back. But anw, it was still a great night I must say. Was really touched to see so many ppl turn up, especially the 3 smyc musketeers! haha. Really appreciate them for coming down even though we haven't met for quite some time, and even though 2 of them had a levels round the corner. :)

When everyone was singing happy birthday song for me, this feeling of happiness and 感动 crept over me. It felt really really good to have my family and friends there with me!!! :) I was really sweetly surprised by all the presents I received, didn't expect to receive soooo many! When I went back that night, the presents took up nearly the whole of the backseat of the car, leaving me with a teeny space to sit. That was how exaggerating it was! But it felt really shuang though, hahah :P Really love ALL my presents, it's the thought that counts!! Just hope that everyone was okay with the money spent, not too expensive or what. Hope it didn't burn a hole in their pockets!!

Thank you everyone who came that made it such a wonderful night for me! And the presents and cards! I super love to read messages that people write to me, I always find such notes and messages so precious. :) Thanks to Chui and gang for their HUGE bday "card"! Haha! It's sitting beside my bed now :) It was also great to receive wishes through sms and facebook, so nice of them to take the effort to wish me. There were a few others whom I did want to invite, but I wanted to keep the party small and simple. sorry! Writing up the guest list was not as easy as I thought!

Oh yeah anw the caterer that I ordered from that night was Four Seasons Catering, and I remember reading from somewhere that there's no affiliation with Four Seasons hotel. (pls correct me if I'm wrong!) But anw, received quite alot of compliments about the food, and everyone that I asked said that it was nice! The price was reasonable too, so I must say that it was a good choice! :) Anyone looking for caterers can consider them!

Went for SAA ceremony just now, it's going to be my first and only receiving an award in NUS! Haha! thanks to nusco for giving me the chance to experience this, hehe! :) Borrowed a black dress and a formal black jacket from wl, but didn't wear the jacket though. It wasn't thatttt formal I thought. I like her black dress! Simple yet elegant enough. I should get such a classic piece sometime soon, it's always useful to have a LBD in your wardrobe! There was this moment when I was listening to the "NUS Song", that I suddenly felt this sense of belonging to NUS. It has never really felt like a school that I belong to, but somehow at that touching moment, I felt this sense of belonging, and proud to be a student of NUS. :) It's moments like this that we need!
